Best Mothers Day gifts---ever!
I guess my gardening obsession isn't a secret in our house.
When my family asked what I wanted for Mother's Day I asked for a sunhat and three more sections of cattle panel for my cucs, peas and tomato. Not only did they get me those but I also got a great kneeler/bench that is the perfect height for my 18 inch high beds. Just yesterday I was kneeling on empty plastic manure bags, LOL!

They also gave me a timer for our house (we still have some traditional gardens) and cute garden ornaments. The best was my 11 year old had to make a series of pictures at school to put in a plastic cube. The front drawing is a perfect picture of one of my square foot gardens! I was totally spoiled---I am probably smelling like compost
Now for the rain to stop so I can go out and try my new garden supplies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice gifts! Could it be that the timer is to remind you when it's time to come back inside from the garden?! Ha.

How sweet! Thank you for posting the kneeling bench link. I'm going to Menard's tomorrow (fun) and I will have to get one. I need one, I really, really do!

My daughter (10 years old) went to a garage sale yesterday, and came back to tell me she found the perfect Mother's day present for me for $1.
They were 2 Jiffy Greenhouses with 50 squares each
I guess she's noticed that I really like gardening. She's sweet.

Ok...that should say "hose timer" not house, hahha. But I need a timer too. I spend too much time out there according to my family

You know you are doing a great job of raising children when they think of YOU and your likes when purchasing gifts...my boys got me garden solar lights so that I can keep an eye out for deer at night

I agree with the above statement. It is just the best when your loved ones know what is in your heart, aside from them of course. It is clear there is a lot of
in your family.

I got a leaf blower with a mulching feature. I can't wait to try it. I have had a hard time breaking down leaves for my compost pile.
What my family doesn't know is now that I can mulch leaves, we will be stealing all our neighbors leaf piles and I am sure that they will be helping
