Add to that all that will get planted directly into the garden or will get started indoors in a few weeks......eeks! If this snow doesn't melt soon I will be out there with my hairdryer melting the snow on my boxes. We are trying a lot of heirloom seeds this year and many more different variety.

Our seedling indoor planted list to this point is:

4 types of marigolds

7 different types of dahlia

Veges & herbs:
romas

head lettuce

Yet to get planted:

Kentucky Wonder Pole beans

radish
snow peas
snap peas
English peas
basil
watermelon
butternut squash
zucchini
cucumber (4 varieties)
carrots (2 variety)
beets
strawberry

So far I have planted in peat plugs:

Tomatoes - 5 varieties
Banana Legs, Porter's Dk Cherry, Russian Big Roma, Purple Russian, &
Roughwood Plum
Orange Bell Peppers
Basil
Kitty Crack (Catnip)

All varieties but the Kitty Crack have sprouted, but it has only been one week, so I will give the seeds a few more days before the kitties are just out of luck and I replace the plugs with something else.

I have more stuff to start indoors, but it is still way to early here to start squash and cukes and such. I also have 'taters, asparagus, and onions to be delivered in the next few weeks and by then it will be time to put them in the ground - if the snow melts.....
