I have been a SFGer for 5 or 6 yrs, just using common sense. Apparently that is not enough for the best results. I am anxious to discover tricks of the trade, as it were.

Since common sense is NOT common, you are already ahead of the game! Welcome to the site! There are LOTS of knowledgeable and helpful gardeners on here (I am not one of them, just gabby!) and they will be happy to give input!

Hello from Kingwood tx 396615 to the forum and SFG, there is tons of Common Sence in Mel's new book, if you don't have it yet, grab it. The All New Square Foot Gardening book (I'm paraphrasing-I've been grading my kiddos papers-uuuggghhh).

We absolutely LOVE pictures so post when you can.

If you have a blog you can add it to your signature.

TX is pretty big so I'm not sure what region you are in, but give the regional threads on the main page a look and see which one (or two) fits you, that way you can get even more help from those nearby you.

Everyone on here is so very helpful, don't be afraid to ask, if it's been asked we will send you to the thread with tons of answers.
