CHAT tonight! Friday, February 18, 7 p.m. EST
It's been quite a while since we've had a chat, and maybe now is the time to start that back up again. So, this is an open call to anyone who would like to join us in chat tonight. I will be there around 7 p.m. EST, but anyone can join in earlier if they wish.
To join the chat, log in as usual to the forum main page (https://squarefoot.forumotion.com). In the green bar just below the logo at the top of the page, click on "Chat" towards the right end of the bar. This will bring up the Chatbox. At the top right you will see the link to "Log in".
You can set font color and style to personalize what you type, if you wish, and this can help others to follow who is "talking". Also, please know that there is a timer on the chat, and we can't change it. So, if you idle for a while between chat entries, you might find yourself timed out. Just log back in and you will be fine.
Typically, chats fall into two general categories, free-form and those having an announced subject such as "Strawberries."
For this one, especially as it's the first one of the year, I think free-form is probably appropriate, but I suspect most of us will be talking about "Spring Planning"! Subjects can vary as questions arise, and we've been known to drift way off topic in the past, and that is okay. (For topic-specific chats, we try to stay focused, however.)
Also, please know that it does not take a Regional Host to call a chat. Anyone is welcome to call for or announce a chat at anytime. It can be announced several days in advance, or at the drop of a hat. Please do make sure to put the date as well as the time in your post's topic title, though, as it can get very confusing otherwise.
Hope to see you tonight, and,
Happy gardening!

It was great talking to you, too, Mick. Hopefully we can do this again soon. You can call a chat as well, if you'd like to!
Darn!
Darn! As usual, I forgot.
Glad it went well.

I came in from filling boxes yesterday afternoon, hit the couch with the intention of resting and then chatting, but Netflix and I had a Stargate SG-1 marathon instead. Maybe I'll remember next time!!!!
