- Something ate my hand!:
Can you guess who was the culprit?
Re: What ate my hand?
Is the poll open? I tried to click on my answer and nothing seemed to happen, no change in the % or number of votes.
'Course, I may not know how to vote.

Re: What ate my hand?
The same thing happens to me when I peel/chop raw butternut squash or similar. It seems to wash off after a while. I now wear gloves when preparing them.
Re: What ate my hand?
I was playing with it, and it started working again, but I can't say it's fixed!

Thanks Boffer!
Camprn, those are Red Mushroom peppers. I got the seed from Baker Creek. When I ripped out my garden, they weren't ready yet, so I cut down the whole plant (as you see) and hung it in my laundry room with the light on; the peppers ripened that way. I got my first taste of them yesterday, and YIKES, they are hot.

Re: What ate my hand?
Winter Squash can be vicious. With a name like Rampicante, must be horrible. Does your hand itch or burn?
