Interesting blog.. My daughter brought me a bottle of Tomato Jalapeno Wine from San Sebastian winery in north Fl. It was a very pleasant light bodied wine with a flavor that reminded me of sun dried tomatos and just a hint of heat. Would have been very good in a marinade or salad dressing if it had lasted that long !!

I tried making it during the heyday of my wine making spurt. I was very disappointed -- I hope you have a better experience. We used it as marinade, but since I'd made 2 gallons -- that was a lot of marinade!
