Where's my beet?
Well, this is my first year growing beets and while they're supposed to be fool-proof I'm wondering exactly where my beet is. While the tops are growing nicely I checked to see how the bulb is doing and it's just not there. Granted, I just planted a month ago but according to the packets for the two varieties I planted they should be ready in 2 wks & in 1 month from now. So, does it just take longer than the packet says, does the bulby part grow last or do I have a problem brewing?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Mine took a month longer than the label said it would. Have hope and water those babies
Re: Where's my beet?
Thanks! Dad says the same thing - planted his beets on Memorial Day & is just starting to harvest them. So, looks like it'll be about another month & a half at least. Guess I just got started too late & am having troubles being patient!
