It Works! Empty It Works!

I have had some successes and some failures but all in all things are going well. I am anxious to harvest more but I think in a few weeks I am going to be wondering how to deal with it all. The boxes are so cute when everything is a seedling and a little scary when they start to mature! Sure is fun though!

A few sweet little tomato plants and some squash (view from the balcony - the box on the left)

Congrats, your garden looks great!

If your plants get too scary, just take the salt & pepper shakers out to the garden and let the plants know who's boss!!

It Works! Empty Three Sisters

Post  ander217 7/1/2010, 11:34 am

I love your Three Sisters box. How is that working out? I see the corn and squash in the photo, but what about the beans? Are they pole or bush beans?
(I'm thinking of trying that next year.)

I have bamboo (and other) stakes in the ground throughout. The pole beans are climbing those and the corn. If you enlarge the picture you can see one on the white pole but there are a bunch of them.
