Beautiful! My lindens are yellow, not a lot of red. What kind of tree is that, OG?

That is a Red Maple, an Ohio native tree. We also have several Tulip Poplar trees that are all bright yellow right now.

Re: Fall Tree Colors
I have 2 huge silver maples in my front yard that are not in the best of shape. I plan to put in a couple trees to replace them (for someone else) some day and want a Tulip Tree and maybe a Red Maple! I will check it out!

Tapping Maples
On a side note, did you know that you can tap almost any kind of maple? Not just sugar maple? It's just that you will have to boil more sap. Did this as a kid.

I had a mature tulip tree at my old house. Loved it!
