Re: December 2016 Avatar: Show your Winter Season Colors!
Got my $1 poinsettias from Lowe's today. My "personal shopper" (granddaughter) delivered them personally. I love to get them every year. I tried to keep them alive the first year, but they just can't survive our summers.
My camera has a neat feature where I can tip the view finder, so this is a top-down view of 5 plants. I'll keep them going as long as I can, then re-use the pots and dirt.

Gorgeous! CN, are you growing anything currently in your SFG or otherwise?

I still have peppers, zukes, radishes, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and turnips in the "salad bar" (SFG).Scorpio Rising wrote:Gorgeous! CN, are you growing anything currently in your SFG or otherwise?
"Otherwise" I have patty pan squash, cukes, brandywine tomatoes, and butterfly plants in the greenhouse, and small citrus trees, tomatoes, & cukes in the house. I definitely garden year-round.

OMG! I thought they were Christmas cookies with red sugar sprinkles. Lol! Probably a good idea to post the photo large like Country did.

The best I can do right now for color is my latest compost donations - the neighbors fall decorations.
If I see anything later on in December I'll change it.

Couldn't wait for the official January post. Had to share my beautiful Meyer lemon blossom (from the sun room).
