feeding a family of 5
I'm looking for a chart that will tell you how many squares to plant of each vegetable per person. I can't figure out what words to use to search for this here in the forums!
We are currently loving the sugar snap peas, and none have made it into the house. I call our garden the snacking garden because almost everything is eaten in small quantities while still in the garden. For the peas, I have a trellis along one side, and the 4 squares there planted. I had old seed, so not great germination, so I know I can get more in there, but wondering just how full I should make those squares? Can I put another trellis in the next row over and plant more? Will they just climb all over each other on the first trellis?

Re: feeding a family of 5
I don't know of any charts that show the number of squares of a vegetable to feed a certain number of persons, but there are several charts that show the number of plants that are suggested. So, it would fairly easy to determine the number of squares by the number of plants per square for each variety. Most charts are based on a family of four.
One good chart is the Garden Gate Calculate how many vegetables to plant
Another one is The Spruce How Much to Plant per Person in the Vegetable Garden
And, another one is the Harvest to Table Vegetable Crop Yields, Plants per Person, and Crop Spacing
