I love the colorful names of some heirloom plants. Here are some of my favorites. What are Yours?

Kiss Me Over The Garden Gate

This one makes me long for simpler, more innocent times.

Mortgage Lifter Tomatoes

This one makes me appreciate what I have and empathize with those who have to work so hard to keep what they have.

Cherokee Trail of Tears (g-g-grandmother)
Dragon Tongue (what young lad wouldn't want to grow these!)
Good Mother Stallard (who?)

Cowpea: Purple-hull Pinkeye (total description)

Tomato: Arkansas Traveler (who?)

Cottage Red —. Marigold

Minnesota Midget Melons..they are mini cantaloupes

Incredible (mini-sunflower with a huge flower but only 2 ft tall!)
