Butternut stopped flowering?
I have a butternut i planted back in January. It grew slowly, flowered, got frost damage, then regrew started flowering, set two fruit, stopped flowering, now growing vine and leaves like mad with lady bugs fighting a war with the aphids that found it as if grew out of the bed into the nasturium patch. One of the fruits split so I clipped it.
But nutshell, no more flowering, no more fruit set. Granted our weather has been 60s to 90s with lucky if a day between and that frost hit a month or so ago after a high 80s spell.
Is this a wait it out for flowers or any other ideas? I keep beefing upmladybugs for the aphid war.

Re: Butternut stopped flowering?
You can cover your bet by starting some replacement seedlings if the existing ones keel over. You have a long season.
PS Where do you buy the lady bugs?
