Chives/Lemon Verbena

Chive Omelet with Lemon Verbena Tea

  • 1% milk

  • Lemon black tea with Lemon Verbena, sugar of course! I need to drop the sugar too!

  • Chive / Chive Flower omelet, with black pepper, pinch of salt, Lemon Verbena, chive flowers and stems.

Nice SQWIB.

For lunch we had scrambled eggs with chives and red basil plus some sliced snow peas. This was just an "invented on the spur of the moment" recipe but it tasted good.  The chives came out of our regular veggie bed, the basil out of the SFG Table Top and the peas out of a 4x4 SFG bed. There were a lot more peas harvested but they did not make it to the house.  Very Happy

That is awesome Trolleydriver, Nothing like harvesting your own, especially when starting from seed.

Looks very tasty, SQWIB.  Often use scrambled eggs to hold vegetable that I have around for a quick and nutritious meal.

It is !:30pm local time here so I think I will do that right now for a light lunch.  hungry

Great minds think alike

Veggies just seem to go so good with eggs.
