The FDA and Dietary Supplements
Here is a link to the FDA website concerning dietary supplements:
https://www.fda.gov/food/dietarysupplements/usingdietarysupplements/ucm109760.htm
https://www.fda.gov/food/dietarysupplements/usingdietarysupplements/ucm109760.htm
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM FDA!
Unlike drugs, supplements are not intended to treat, diagnose, prevent, or cure diseases. That means supplements should not make claims, such as “reduces pain” or “treats heart disease.” Claims like these can only legitimately be made for drugs, not dietary supplements.

I am my gardens worst enemy.

Re: The FDA and Dietary Supplements
Good advice from the FDA!
Never purchase a supplement that makes medical claims, and try to find those without a history of warnings or recalls.
I personally believe that those products containing actual plant concentrates provide better nutrition than those that do not.
Which is not to say that we should stop growing our own organic fruits and vegetables, of course!
