I'll get my Texas garden right yet
I finally got the camera out and got some Pictures taken of my new beds, Now I'm trying to send them _2535.jpg" /> I hinged the frame so I could rise Them for morning sun or to work in the bed. These two beds are made using 6 X 1/2 cedar fence boards the small one is 3" X 3" I'm trying for potatoes I'm using 1/2" PVC pipe for the grid, no X fittings just laid one over the other. ' g" />Well That's it Folks hope You like it.

Beautiful! I can't wait to play outside again, but it's still raining and blowing here and will be for a few more days. WAAAAA!!!!!
Re: I'll get my Texas garden right yet
Nice! Can you describe the parts you used, especially where it hinges?
I don't think I could use them in my current garden - too windy -- but I like learning about things I could use on my next garden once I move.

I'll get it right yet
I went to Goodwill and bought sheer window curtains, Made the frame out of 1/2" PVC pipe On The Hinge side the legs are 3/4" the bottom is strapped to the bed frame making them ridged, on the top I used a 3/4" T just slipped over the 1/2" back rail which is the hinge . Speaking of wind last night we had Four EF1 tornados touch down on the Eastern side of San Antonio, it got a mite windy here also but no damage. If You will look at the pictures You will see one gallon jugs full of water, I strap them to the front of the frame for wind anchors, Last night I was lucky the wind came from the West the hinge side as I didn't have the anchors attached.

I'm glad you got lucky with the wind being the right direction (and the tornadoes missing you!!) Thanks for pointing out the anchors, I didn't realize that's what they were.
