Re: 2017 SFG Adventures in Hampstead, NC
Thank you all.
I planted garlic last year and had meager results. Also, my DW isn't using it much for some reason. I still have the braid hanging on the wall.
We did have 1 plant do really well...at least I think it did well. We were given a sickly little strawberry plant in a 4" pot which I just stuck in an open square in my 4x4. Well that sickly little plant has taken over the entire 4x4 bed. I have so many new plants I don't know what to do with them. I am thinking I need to cut them back to 1 plant per square but I may wait to see how the over-winter.
In my 2x8's, I am thinking about planting carrots.
Thanks again for the kind words on my ship and I will get around to reading and commenting on a bunch of other threads soon.

Re: 2017 SFG Adventures in Hampstead, NC
Back Atcha, Ralitaco! We ate too much, laughed too much, and had an altogether very merry Christmas with our family. Now I'm back on the couch, by a nice fire, sipping cinnamon coffee, and feeling wonderful about everything. Hope everyone here had as fine a day as we had. Now it's time to get back to planning next year's gardens.ralitaco wrote:MERRY CHRISTMAS SFG friends!!!!
