Sort of in the Middle South with a touch of Lower South.  I tried to figure it out once, and with other Texans, and that was the best I could do.  Also, there will be micro-climates. When are the average first and last frosts? Any snow?

Here is the link to the middle south description from Boffer.

Here is the link to the lower south description from Boffer.

Looking at the US Hardiness Zone map, you are right on the borderline of 7B and 8A.  That puts you on the borderline of Middle South and Lower South.  But a few years ago the hardiness zones were changed a little but this map does not show this.  It says I am in Middle South but some maps show me as lower south.  So as Sanderson says, probably just on the edge.  When I first started on this site, my planting dates more followed the middle south so that is where I mostly relate to.

Thanks Yolos. I read what Boffer said, but couldn't figure it out. Great work Boffer. I'll go with what Sanderson said.

Snow-maybe, maybe not. Usually last from 1-3 days occurring once to twice a year.

And in No Cal, especially in the summer. The nice thing about this Forum is that there are ideas in every thread that can help or be adapted for every Region. One big family.
