Hi from southern PA
Hi everyone. I have been gardening for many years however always searching for more information. Every day is a new opportunity to learn more about gardening. I am thrilled that I found your forum and am looking forward to learning more from you and sharing my experiences.
I love to garden and now have 10 raised beds that my husband and I built. There are alot of things planted but still have lots of room for more. In addition to the vegetables I grow I have strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and apple trees all in my approximately 1/3 acre back yard. It certainly keeps me busy. It is a good thing I retired a year ago!

Welcome, Yin. This is my first year back after a long dry spell (literally). Looking forward to sharing your adventures. We also have berries and fruit trees in addition to veggies.

from your "neighbor" to the south.
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Hi Yin! I'm in central Pennsylvania, so I'm "pretty close by." Your garden sounds quite nice. I envy your fruit plants -- I'm renting, so planting bushes/trees aren't an option for me. Someday.
What else are you growing? Let us know what you're harvesting in the "What are you eating from your garden today?" thread (it's usually easy to find in the Latest Topics bar on the left.) Are you growing tomatoes? (There's a "Tomato Tuesday" thread that also has lots of traffic.) Any vegetables/greens you consider unusual? Vegetables that are a first for you this year?
