Do we compost newspaper, printer paper?
Obvious low nitrogen "brown" that we have in our house. Yes, we are old fogies and still get paper news delivered every day.
I've looked on line and various people have mixed opinions, (so what else is new?)
I've been shredding non-slick mail, extra printed pages, etc and dumping into our rotating compost bins. I use those in the winter when I really don't feel like treading through snow to a snow-covered compost pile out back. Haven't gotten into shredding the Denver Post and WSJ though.
Thoughts?

Oh, yes! I use (news)paper (sheets &/or shredded) at the bottom of my boxes & as mulch & in the compost pile.
Re: Do we compost newspaper, printer paper?
I use shredded newspaper and it is also useful in worm bins. An arborist tole me a couple of years ago to use shredded newspaper when planting tress.
