Drought and S. Colorado
The drought is still here I'm told but the recent rains have really helped. On my way into town this morning I heard the total breakdown. As of this morning the total moisture for the year is a flat 10 inches. This is 6.14 inches above normal. Ten inches of moisture usually doesn't happen before Oct.
My grass that I mowed a week ago looks like I could cut it and bail it. The weeds are huge but I will take it all for this kind of rain. At my place we have had a little over 3 inches in last 10 days but slow and steady so no flooding. More forecast but just when I was thinking Mother's day on Sunday, time to plant, the bottom is going to drop out and snow and freezing expected on Sunday. I think I'll wait a few more days.

I seem to have the upper edge of this storm. I had illusions of seeding corn it was so warm yesterday
They predict snow this weekend.
It looks like a week before the temperatures go over 40 at night.
