When to start your seeds, with help from NOAA
Hi all. I'm sure there have been threads regarding when to start seeds... but this morning I got an e-mail from Organic Gardening that I found to be helpful.
To me, the best part of this article is a link to NOAA US Climate Normals. Just put in your state and then you will get a PDF that breaks down temps into various regions in your state.
The article is here:
http://www.organicgardening.com/learn-and-grow/5-steps-sowing-success?page=0,0&cid=NL_OGNews_1978722_01142015_seed-sow-success_readmore
The direct link to NOAA is here:
https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/climatenormals/climatenormals.pl?directive=prod_select2&prodtype=CLIM2001&subrnum%2520to%2520Freeze/Frost%2520Data%2520from%2520the%2520U.S.%2520Climate%2520Normals
Forgive me if this has already been posted, but I figured (given how soon planting time is coming), that at least the NOAA link would be helpful to see again.

The NOAA chart is the one I use all the time. The data collection dates per the documentation are 1971 - 2000. But I still use this data chart to get my first and last frost dates.
