Uh . . . I went right over and tried to get the "free" book but could not. Instead I got an offer to sign up for some Kindle scam that costs $10 a month.

What did I do wrong?

You have to click the "buy it" button and then the free copy will either go to the cloud associated with your amazon account or you have the option to download it to your "kindle for PC". HTH!

Ms. Pylarino's book is no longer Free, but you can still get it for $3.07, a really great price if you need solid information but can't afford a print copy at the moment.

It is also listed as being part of Amazon's "Kindle Matchbook" program, meaning that if you purchased a copy of the print book through them at any point, you can buy the eBook from them for just $0.99.

This may not be of use to everyone. I learn more from textbooks and reference books if I have a hard copy to flip through, and then a digi-copy to check quick things when I'm outside or on-the-go. Though, I do love the convenience of my tablet for recreational reading.

Hi Molly. This is an old post from last year, but it's nice to know the updated price for the eBook.

Can you see the day, date, including year, and time of the replies? Sometimes a member can see the day, date and time but not the year. You can go to your Profile, Preferences, and modify the Date Format.
