Garden thus far, the 2014 edition!
Howdy folks! Here's my garden so far this year. I replaced my original dividers, which rotted and fell apart over the winter, with some metal window blind slats. They were easy to cut with a pair of kitchen scissors.
4*4 with mystery squash in the bottom right. My cat had taken square #2 (just left of the lettuce) and his personal toilet, so I doubt the kale I planted there is going to grow.
My youngest's 3*3, carrots, watermelon, peas, cukes, corn, and beets all coming up nicely!
Beans coming up! So tempted to pick that little bit of seed off, but in my experience, whenever I do that, it dies.
Deep 3*3 garden, with potatoes and carrots.
Potato coming up, eeeeee! I'll let it grow a little more before I cover it with dirt again.
Tomato garden I built pre-SFG.
My bathtub herb garden. We just found there's a mouse colony underneath it. Any suggestions for how to kill the colony without poison?

Nice pics. You must get a later start than even I do here in 5a Maine.

Yes indeed! Our last frost date this year was May 25th! It provides a challenge, but local seed companies have provided lots of quick-growing varietals for us. I have had no luck with eggplant, though, and I'm not even trying this year.
I love you eggplant, I'm sorry!

Amethyst....I'm not surprised about the eggplant. That's a crop that likes its evenings in the 60sF so it can be challenging for those of us in the north.
My evenings are usually in the 50s right up til July so I, too, get very little harvest from eggplants.
