Hello. I've been doing square foot gardening for about 4 years now, but still consider myself a novice. I have two 4x4 sfg's and I'm trying to figure out how I can put a pvc hoop house over the gardens to provide some shade. Have any of you done this with success and if so, could you direct me to a place you know of that has the instructions? Thanks much. Very Happy

Welcome SFGBeginner - and +1 what Sanderson said! LOTS of the folks here have hoops or covers for warmth, bug protection, and/or shade. Dig through all our goofy posts and you will find lots of help and SFG wisdom.

Welcome to the Forum from Chula Vista California..8 miles from the southern border....
Lots of help from all the ones here on the Forum with experience and thoughts.....

We have such a water shortage going on now......lost a lot of plants in the heat wave we had a couple of weeks ago......so got to get a soaker system going.....got all the parts ....but it seems theres a million ways to run the lil hoses......
