Brand new gardener from SW Michigan
Hello folks!
I'm a brand new vegetable gardener in every way! I've helped out with various flower gardens throughout the years, as well as tree and shrub planting, but vegetables are all new to me. I've been doing a ton of reading. I've also dug the first 2 raised beds.
I'm looking forward to learning and participating in the community here.

Scott. I hope you have a copy of the ALL NEW SQUAREFOOT GARDENING book. It is the go to manual for this forum. Makes veggie gardening sooooooo much easier,

Thanks, all!
I have a copy of the 2006 edition of the SFG book, and I've been poring over it. No seedlings in the ground yet, but that is my plan for this weekend!

Welcome! Enjoy planting something you don't just look at, but look at and then eat!
