Hello everyone! I'm 29-year-old Kate from Santa Fe, and I'm really excited to be trying SFG for the first time in my raised bed vegetable garden. I use Mel's mix in my containers, too, since it wicks, drains, and distributes moisture so well. (I'm trying the City Pickers planter, and will be making some self-watering planters too. Self-watering is really important to me since I live in the high-altitude desert.) My peas and lettuce are already coming up, since I'm in zone 6b. Good luck to all the other gardeners out there! I look forward to participating in this forum.
