This what you meant...?

Welcome Mat working here.

The code didn't have the closes for the strike and center commands... so it messed it up a little.

Reminds me of the old addage... if you open it, close it, yadda, yadda, yadda... Laughing
Code:
 [stuff] opens, and [/stuff] closes

The little icon in the upper right of the edit box, with the small 'A' slash big slanted 'A' switched between code view mode (where you will see the brackets [ and ] and WYSIWYG modes.

Well.. looking at the code version of your message... you are linking to three seperate images. There are two types of emoticons... those that are internally recognized.. and those which are linked to outside images.
The internal emoticons can be clicked on from the little box on the right, OR by using the phpBB code shortcuts for them.

Take lol! for example....
You could either click on the icon, or you could simply type in
Code:
:lol!:
in your message. Sometimes, if you know the code, it's just easier to type it than switch between the keyboard and mouse.

The same is true for bold, itallicized, underlined, and strikethrough.... by using the commands
Code:
[b] and [/b], [i] and [/i], [u] and [/u], & [strike] and [/strike]

Oh, and the command to enter pure text without formatting (inside the code box) is the 'code' and '/code' command inside of the brackets ( [ and ] )
