Free seeds 2014 from Ray at Praxxus (utube)
Ray is having his yearly giveaway for free seeds. This year there are no personal choices. He's sending Tokyo Green Onions, Little Gem Lettuce, Cubanelle Sweet Pepper, Tendersweet Carrots and Delicious Beefsteak Tomatoes. Small packets of a couple dozen or so seeds.
Send him a SASE (Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope) to:
Ray, 49600 County Road 3, Windom, MN 56101
For overseas folks alone, you don't need to send postage on your return envelope, just your name and address on it. He will pay the return postage. His way of returning goodwill for those that have been watching him and seldom benefitting in other ways.
This offer ends Jan 31, 2014 so send for them now.

I sent the sase a little while ago. Haven't seen his video's lately so I would've missed out.
Thanks again!

For those that missed this post earlier, its worth your while to send for these free seeds for just a SASE.
Here are some of the Wapsipinicons I got from his last year offer. These were the least blight-prone of all my tomatoes and I froze many. In fact, I used some in my last Sunday dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. The yellow tomatoes blended right in with the red and didn't change the sauce color.

I received my free seeds. The USPS had a little trouble with the envelope, ripped and enclosed in a plastic sleeve for delivery. The seeds are fine, thank goodness.
I can identify the tomato and pepper seeds. But what are the larger black seeds, the tan long seeds and the brown short seeds?

malefactor, the seed offer holds thru the end of Jan only so send in your SASE.
I believe they are all either heirloom or open-pollinated since he saves these seeds himself each year.

I got mine today but none are marked. I know the yellow round large ones are the Cubanelle Sweet Peppers and the similar shaped smaller tan round ones have to be the Delicious Beefsteak toms.
Thanks Gardendog for listing the others or I'd never have known. I've now marked the packets so I'll know.

I don't see that anyone has addressed the identification of the tomato seeds / pepper seeds. Excuse me everyone, I am a super newbie, this season will be the first season that I've ever gardened
From looking at pictures online, I assume the larger of the two beige/tan seeds are peppers, and the tomato seeds are a bit smaller than the pepper seeds.

Okay, so people on this thread are saying that the larger seeds are the pepper seeds, and that the smaller seeds are the tomato seeds... I just got P.M.'ed saying that the tomato seeds are the larger ones, and the pepper seeds are the smaller ones -- can anyone truly confirm WHICH IS WHICH?! Thanks
