Sweet Pea Empty Sweet Pea

Here's my first attempt at sweet pea.  The seed package only shows the flowers with any detail.  I used google search to see what the plants look like--but these plants don't look very much like what google shows.
Do these look like sweet pea to everyone?  thanks

What you have there is a weed, purslane. Here are photos of the sweet pea, which is not to be eaten, as it is poisonous.

Did you mean sugar/snap peas?

Sweet Pea Empty Thank you!

I love it when things make sense!

I planted sweet pea, but nothing came up.  I was confused when the weed started coming up at points where there were no seeds.

You might have noticed the planter is adjacent to the lawn, where clippings are strewn about.  No doubt some weed seeds made it in there.

Pretty weed.  I'll be pulling them.  Smile
