It's Me AGAIN! - Looking for a garden safe wood sealer
Hi All,
I am look for a good garden safe wood sealer/finish to protect my boxes. I tried ordering the
Livos Donnos All Weather Protection from Sustainable Garden, but they are unable to get it
as their supplier (the one and only importer of
Livos products in the US) decided not to bring in any Donnos.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Boib G.

Hi
I don't seal my wood boxes so I don't have any experience to offer.
You might find some ideas in these threads:

Re: It's Me AGAIN! - Looking for a garden safe wood sealer
Couldn't you just apply linseed oil like they do on fences? It's not a 100% impermeable sealer, but it should prolong the life of your wood.
Re: It's Me AGAIN! - Looking for a garden safe wood sealer
I just finished my boxes with SoyGuard. Not sure how it will hold up and it took a few days for the oil to "dry" but at least they have something on them. Take a look on the web for it and you will get more information. Sort of expensive and needs to be re-applied every 2 years but the kids and I are hoping it keeps the wood looking a bit newer.
Good luck!
Good luck!
