East Tennessee SFG pics
Rooster chastized me -- rightly since pics are the first thing I look for in a post -- so I'm learning a new trick today... Pictures.

Oh, now I got the hang of this thing...
Tomato Bed1 from the back to see the big toms and cukes growing up the homemade trellis (had lumber on hand, didn't have electrical conduit on hand.. will FIX THAT next year.)
View of the bed from the side...
First section (on the west side)
Second section (on the east side)

for showing your fabulous garden ETNRedClay. You sure jumped in with both feet. I got this sneaking feeling folks are going to be proud they know you when the harvest comes.

Don't be in a hurry to convert to electrical conduit. That trellis looks really great and very sturdy.

Yeah, the toms are already 4' tall and this trellis is 8' tall. I'm thinking this one may stay...

6/15/13 pics of SFG in East TN
Here's the overall shot of the 32"x32' salad &onion beds -- I've stripped out the spring greens and am debating what to put in their place. Next year I'll plan better because I didn't strip out entire beds and corn -- for instance -- will block out what's left from spring. In a bad way. So here you go...
&
Here is an empty salad bed
The onions and carrots are doing well.
Must move mints!
And another empty salad bed.

Swiss Chard continues to do well. Empty squares bug me.
This summer squash is NOT sick, it is WOUNDED. Turns out dogs can reach OUT OF dogyards and grab squash leaves, pull them back into dogyards and shred them all over. Why? For fun of course!
This is what the above one looked like before the "attack" and why they left this one alone...? For fun of course!
Oh and the second one produces twins. Strange but kewl.
And the onions with empty squares and the Vegecide-ish dog in the background. Say hello to Cheers.
