Good price on cedar raised beds
Hello all...
Earlier today I was shopping online for a lawn mower when I came across a deal from Home Depot that I wished I had come across earlier. Home Depot has some gorgeous looking 48' x 48' cedar beds on sale for 29.88 each. Man that killed me! I would have loved to have gotten some of these.
Well, I just wanted to pass this on to all of you. The link is here:

Re: Good price on cedar raised beds
I was just at HD yesterday and took a look at its raised beds.
It seemed to me that the "wood" would splinter easily, so I ruled it out as an option for my SFG.

Check out the local Habitat for Humanity store if you have one nearby. Thay may have something that you can use...

Hmm... looks can be deceiving... Habitat, good resource
Donnainzone10, I'm glad you saw them first hand. I was going off of appearance.
Clark... thanks for mentioning Habitat for Humanity store. I never thought of them as resource. It turns out we have one in our local area. I will check out the store... seems like it might have lots of other good buys too! Thanks!

Happy gardening!
I have 2 of these going into their 3rd year of use. They are actually holding up pretty good.

Re: Good price on cedar raised beds
I have one I bought last year. Used it for my collards over the winter and then moved it and made it my now existing strawberry bed. Seems to be a good value for the money at $29 but I paid $39 for mine back then. Much more economical to build your own though.
