Hello from Central PA!
Hi, everyone! I'm Laura, very new to gardening in any form but what I lack in experience I make up for in enthusiasm. We've got a small space and two little girls who need to share but after having disastrous results for the last two years using our existing soil, I'm really excited to try my hand at SFG! I just bought what I need to mix the soil. Now my next project is helping my husband find time to build the planters for me!

Hi Laura.
Welcome to the Forums! And welcome to SFG. You are going to be so successful using Mel's Mix. Many of us start out very small and end up with enough boxes and produce to feed the local homeless!
Your girls will love watching the peas sprout and climb and the tomatos turn red. The soil is what makes all the difference. Of course, there's no weeding like we're used to in those darned old-fashioned gardens so we can actually SEE our veggies.
Have a good time gardening. Keep posting here; ask questions. Post pictures.
