Spring in Europe 12 March 2013

Well the Weathermans spring arrived 1 March, officially the equinox will be spring on the 21 March 2013.
I woke up feeling cold , for last week we had temperatures of 17 oC (almost 60 oF )
Looked hard at the flower beds and thought " ~&£$% it's been snowing " ,heard on the TV it was about minus 10 o C last night ( 15 oF (ish )) .
I wonder just what will survive if this carries on or how late in sowing we will be.


I've had to put two extra lit candles in the glasshouse to try and keep 15 or so pots of geraniums alive .
I see no sense in using any of the heated propagation beds for another week or so to have seedlings that I cannot guarantee will be able to survive when potted up in the glasshouse .

Looks like I'll have to take this cabin fever for a few more days at least .

There was even more snow here this morning . The lowest temp in the UK was up in Scotland ..down to about minus 17 o C that's CCCCCccccold when you add the wind chill .....Brrrrrrrrrr.

Oh I don't like that...
