potato boxes

There was a topic a week or so ago about growing potatoes and using bins or boxes. I got bit by this and have ordered fingerling seed potatoes. Now I have to figure out where to site the boxes. I have limited space and sunlight issues to consider. I am thinking of putting them on a concrete slab in the back of the yard (old dog run). Any thoughts?

You can grow potatoes in black plastic garbage bags, and you can even do it indoors. We heard about this on a radio show in 2010, and we tried it in 2011 with success. The only problem is that we don't really eat Irish potatoes, so we stopped growing them.
