Celeriac - review
It's ok. Not all that special. A bit like celery-flavored potato. Slightly fibrous. Grows slower than potatoes. Grows very tall -- come on guys -- you can't all have the back squares!sanderson wrote:How do you like it?
If I was looking for a potato-replacement, I might look at Jerusalem artichoke instead. Before I was doing SFG, I was reading a cooking book that got me excited about celeriac. But it took so long to find a store that sells it, by the time I found it I had lost interest. Then I started doing SFG and discovered that some people had actually been growing it. So that got me interested in trying it for myself. Maybe in the winter I'll start some again if there are spare squares.
