Wisconsin and Illinois
I have raised bed at my Illinois home and a 50' x 75' garden in Wisconsin at another home. Two different soils. In Illinois it is black dirt and Wisconsin dark sand. Just thought I'd say hello!

Hi there Green machine! Always glad to see a new face on here! Is your raised garden a square foot garden? We also love pictures too

On another note, are you a Packers fan or a Bears fan. Just curious so I know if we can be friends

But if you decide to follow the Square Foot Garden method you will not have to worry about either as you will make your own growing mix called Mel's Mix. Have your read the book ALL NEW SQUAREFOOT GARDENING. It is the how to manual for gardening supported by this forum. Welcome to the forum.
