OK, I'm Sold....
This is my 1st time actually dong any gardening on my own in all my adult life...I used to help my Step dad Eons ago when I was a Wee li'l one but that was back around the time when dirt was 1st invented...
I'm building TT Boxes and have been going forth slowly due to other priority's plus a bout of some kinda stomach and throat infection this last week.. I've been wanting to get in Starwberry plants and Grape roots which I've had in my basement for the last 4 weeks but haven't been able to get them started...Tomorrow will be the day that stuff gets in the ground...However, on April 3rd, I planted my 1st 25 of 50 Asparagus Plants...Mel says to plant them 4 to a square, but I thought that was kinda tight so I only planted two to a square...What I had read was that they should start showing after about a week or so, but they hadn't started for me and I was getting kinda discouraged and disappointed...
But Lo and Behold, I went out 1st thing this morning to start finishing filling my 2nd TT box with the Mix, and BINGO!..There they were 3 little ole Asparagus Plants popping up through the Mix... So before I completed the 2nd TT Box, I planted the remaining 25 Plants... I'm not saying I'm proud of myself, but it was a neat and nice little boost to actually have 1st hand experience in seeing that Mel is on target with his system...Tomorrow the Strawberry's go in to the finished 2nd Box...I just hope that by being in the Basement for these last 3-4 weeks hasn't done any damage to the plants...They've been wrapped in the packaging that they were sent in, in a Dark and moist cool basement all this time.. We shall see...But hey, if they don't do what I hope they will, I'm ahead of the game...I got things Growin...

Way to go Bob....finally, some reward for all your hard work! You've got the right attitude, not everything always grows, so enjoy what ya get!
I grow radishes just for the emotional boost of seeing something growing. Planting to harvest in 28 days-it's good for my gardening soul!
