This is the first time I've grown tomatillo plants - I have two and one is very healthy, the other one not so much! Any idea what might be going on? I've searched online and the consensus seems to be a virus of some sort. It has been very wet these last few weeks and humid. Should I yank this one out and leave the healthy one? I have tomatoes in the same bed - should I be worried?

From the looks of your pictures, I would be inclined to pull that plant and destroy it before it spreads to the others. Not sure what the problem may be, but it sure can't be good.

I think I may have figured out what happened to my tomatillo! About two weeks ago, we had some tree trimmers out to remove some dead trees. ALL of them were walking around with cigarettes, inspecting my SFGs, and one of them grabbed hold of the tomatillo trying to figure out what it was! The leaves look like the pictures I saw online of tobacco mosaic virus. I'm hoping I'm mistaken, but I did pull the plant out and bag it up for the garbage. Sad

Unfortunately most tomatillos are self infertile, which means it takes two for pollination.

Yes, I know Mad I'm hoping some pollination may have taken place because the healthy plant does have some tiny little fruits (I think?) on it. My main concern are the other 13 tomato plants in the same bed......I read on one site that spraying them with milk might help if they have been exposed to that particular virus.
