My newest additions...
Aldi had lots of garden stuff on sale yesterday so I bought a few bits and pieces.
A sweet capsicum seedling, didn't have room in the SFG's for it, all of my squares are already accounted for so I rummaged around and found a pot under the house and filled it with MM.

Some marigolds, I've planted these on the edge of the squares that will have the tomatoes. Actually, you can see my mini greenhouse with my tomato seeds in the background, they were out getting some sun since I don't have a warming mat yet!

And the best bit yet, a really nice potting bench that only cost $70.

The only drawback was that it came like this...

With worse instructions than an IKEA product!
But I got there in the end and hubby was kind enough to take an action piccy. Got to say I was loving the sunshine this afternoon, it was just gorgeous, even started to get too hot at one point!

Thats a snazzy potting bench Erica..
I'm after a five foot stainless steel double drainer sink to make mine on a simple wooden box/frame with a drawer/shelf underneath .

Lol, I've still got the sink from my old kitchen under the house which we originally intended to make a potting bench with and it just never happened....the kitchen was redone nearly 11 years ago!

Re: My newest additions...
I christened the potting bench today, it was great!

I've been keeping the plant labels, label pen, my hand spade and mini spades in the drawer and that's been working well. Means I don't have to get the shed key every time I want a spade and it keeps them out of sight of the kids!

ericam......That's right, you're on the other side of this globe so you're just starting into your spring season while we're cleaning up our fall beds for winter.
Good luck. Love your potting bench.

Oh nice bench! I just have a large folding bench for mine. But I loved having it INSIDE the greenhouse last spring! One with a drawer would be nice lol.
