What a fabulous surprise! My Sugar Baby has no babies whatsoever. Don't think I'll be seeing watermelon this year. Wish we could share yours!

Re: Volunteer watermelon a sweet surprise!
What a great watermelon. It seems the watermelons have thrived in this 100 degree weather. I planted Oh So Sweet in May and have several big melons, one probably 25-30 pounds. I've been very patient in not giving into temptation and picking one, even though it's been on the vine for 45 days. Is this about average? Never grown watermelon before in my raised bed.

Re: Volunteer watermelon a sweet surprise!
I'm in Utah...help me with the harvest! I'm watching closely for a browning or withering of the vine and leaves right near it and bug attraction. Any other ideas?
