Any ideas for my empty squares?
I had some bad luck with green beans and peas. I have also harvested beets and potatoes. Any suggestions as to what to plant in my empty squares. I had 32 squares of potatoes, 8 squares of beets (planting more in August) and 16 squares each of peas and beans.
Has anyone done a fall crop of potatoes in zone 5 area?

I don't know about potatos, but I'll bet you can start a fall crop of beans now and fall plantings of peas in a week or two.
I don't have my book with me but I think you plant them about 12 weeks before the first frost.
