Western Mountains High Plains: Rooster Playing In The Garden
I got a new device a couple of weeks ago and realized I hadn't shot any video with it yet. This morning as I was drinking my morning cup outside enjoying the beautiful morning, I thought I would give it a try:
I am my gardens worst enemy.

Rooster that was fun! Enjoyed seeing everything going on in your garden, so happy you finally got some rain too. Do you have any idea what's eating your turnips because mine look just like that. It's tiny little black bugs, I have yet to find out what they are.

Enjoyed the stroll through your garden. I felt right at home. Your rooster is quite a trip! Love your animals, though. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Cheyanne The flea beetles are what's causing a lot of the little holes. I'm not sure yet what is munching on my beans and chard. The carnage is different so I think it's something else.
Lol, I just noticed I entirely skipped one of my beds.

I didn't like beets until I grew my own!
Loved your video! This is the first year I've grown beets and I have to tell you, I'm a complete convert. My beets were YUMMY! I planted the deep red and golden varieties - loved the gold ones the best. They were more tender than the red ones. I'm having a lot of the same issues due to the heat. Basil not doing well, most of my carrots didn't germinate (although yours looked good), neither did my lettuce.

Carrots can be so stubborn, ugh. Did you bury your lettuce seeds? They need light to germinate so when I plant them I just through them on top of the "dirt" and pat it down!
