trellis netting
does anyone know if this is good trellis netting? how would i know if the holes are large enough?

It seems the square are 7" like mel recommends

That's one of the brands that I've used. At 7", the holes are plenty big enough, and it's stronger than it looks.

That is what I am using this year. I found it at home depot. It looked cheap and thin - but it is not. I have three tomato plants and two cucumbers that have climbed up it. It is still holding strong, and I expect could take double of that weight. It has not frayed either.

i have a trellis with this netting on it that is going on three years old now. it has gone thru every season without being protected, and seems to me as strong today as it was the day i put it on the frame.

This is my first full year SFGing and I built my vertical frame and purchased some form Johnny's on sale' I think it was 5 foot by 60 feet.
It looks like the same netting I got from Johnny's but I could be wrong. Hope it lasts for many seasons.......
