Fly on pepper plants - iridescent green/yellow
Hello folks!
Does anyone out there recognize this bug? It seems to be hanging out with my pepper plants - but doesn't appear to be doing any damage. Although the photo captures a yellow/orange coloring, to the naked eye, it's a bright (pretty) green. Thoughts?
Thank you!!

It looks like the adult leaf miner

I would check the underside of the leaves, look for a group of white spots. If you find any wipe them off with your finger.
Good luck

This is a great friend to have in the garden - please don't hurt it!
It's a Long Legged Fly, of the Genus Condylostylus. These flies are predators on many pests such as small mites, aphids and flea hoppers, booklice, thrips, flies, silverfish, small caterpillars, etc. The adults are also minor pollinators.

Almost certain those are on my eggplants which would explain the lack of flea beetles so far, compared to last year.
