Hello from the city, Seattle
I have just retired from 35 years of teaching and want to plant my first garden. SFG of course. Have bought the lumber and putting together Mel's mix....but..Yikes..such small bags of vermiculite. Does anyone know where I can find bulk around Seattle?

Re: Hello from the city, Seattle
Welcome!! Check out the thread about vermiculite locations on the main page...I think there might be places close to you that have!

Lizzie,
Hello! I am up north of you in Edmonds and I have found big bags of vermiculite at Sky Nursery on 99 in Shoreline/N. City. They are 4 cu. ft, and cost $40. (Before you go, look up Skynursery.com and print out their coupon for $5 off!) I was just there today and they had stacks of them inside the main entrance by the checkout lines.
