Hey all.

I understand that each node on a cucumber plant will have a leaf, a tendril, a growth-point and a fruit. My question is, will the fruit re-grow on a particular node after it is harvested?

Thanks,
G.

Perhaps some clarification is in order. See, I live in a place that has 85 degree weather year-round. We never have winter, so I'm wondering how long a plant will produce. As long as the little buggers keep giving up the fruit, I'm willing to keep them around.

I know nothing about nodes, but cukes will keep producing as long as the vine can keep growing. The bottom may look dread, but if the upper part is healthy and green, you will get cukes. What I don't know is if a node or growth point will root to assist the vine with nutrients if left on or buried under some fertile soil.

I think you answered my question. You seem to be saying that the particular node will not re-fruit.
