Key Lime Tree
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with growing Key Limes. I purchased a patio sized Key Lime tree several months ago and it still hasn't set any fruit. It just keeps blooming and blooming while all of the ones I'm seeing at the nurseries are fruiting. One website I checked said to shake the tree to pollinate it, but I'm still getting no fruit.

I have my first blooms
I looked up this post to remind me when I planted my key lime seed. Must have been early spring 2012. Yesterday as I was watering, I noticed something white on the ends of one plant. Looking closer I found I am getting my very first blooms. The plants are now 3 1/2 years old, but only one is blooming so far. Will take pictures in a few days when they get a bit bigger.

How wonderful! Can't wait to see it. Do Key Lime trees get really tall?
