Just an update - after lots of hemming and hawing and brainstorming, here's what we came up with. You need a bucket, 6 zip ties, 2 lengths of PVC, and 2 elbows.

The lengths of PVC are zip-tied to the inside of the bucket on either side (2 holes per zip tie. The PVC was cut to 6' and the piece in the middle is 10". You can either do a Florida weave between the two pieces or tie a string between the cross-piece and the bucket handle. Overall this was pretty cheap. I'll let you all know how it goes. Smile
